Try our spreadsheet below to determine your film savings using a Durapak machine compared to hand wrapping! 

For all machines you should fill in the  BLUE  fields with your appropriate data.  Keep in mind that some standard values are already entered, so if you don't know your particular usage you can always just leave it as the default value.

For spiral machines such as DH-60, DL-60, E-Series or the RA-80 machines, fill in the  YELLOW  fields also.

For full-web machines such as the DHF-60 or DLF-60 fill in the  ORANGE  field.

Your annual savings will appear in the  GREEN  box at the bottom of the spreadsheet!

* If you are not sure about your stretch level then here is a guide (this is only an approximation because our machines can be geared for many different stretch levels as long as the film can support it):

** The cost of hand wrap film is greater than the cost of machine grade film due to the sizes of the rolls and the quality of film.  When entering the film cost please enter the machine grade film cost, not hand wrap (the formula takes into consideration the fact that hand wrap film is 20% more expensive)!
